Fred Danziger was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and trained at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. A dedicated realist, his focus is on the natural world, cityscapes and portraits. His work is in the permanent collections of 12 American museums and he has had over 30 solo exhibits in New York (Sherry French Gallery) as well as Philadelphia (currently at FAN Gallery) and in Pittsburgh (James Gallery.) He also won an EMMY for television illustration work in 2018.
